Welcome to my little page.I have been around these United States for over 50 years and have seen most all things as well as done them. Have you ever noticed all the major oil company gas stations, but you never see their trucks. Just whose gas is it you are buying? If all the gas is the same then why have different oil company names? And on gasoline how can a 15 gallon tank hold 16 gallons? Smoking..why does the goverment tell us that smoking is so bad for us and at the same time they subsidize the tobacco growers? not to mention President Clinton's infamous cigars. I think that it is a case of the silent majority is ruled by the vocal minority. Another observation for your amusment is...We have only one right left, but you have to be arrested to use it.. and that is the right to remain silent. I was in K Mart and Wal Mart the other day and noticed big sales going on.. Question here is if they can put stuff on sale and generate so much business then why didn't they just charge the sale price in the beginning? Since I live in Iowa, we have a big deal going on here with the pig farmers and the price of pork. Well observation here is that The hog farmers are asking the great welfare office in Washington DC to bail them out. Well most all the hog farmers are now corporations so i reckon that they will get the money. But, I think they should receive advice which is...don't flood the market with hogs and the price won't fall. It is a simple as the law of supply and demand. If you are looking for a job then I would suggest you come to Iowa as we have an unemployment rate of less the 2%. On average, the hourly wage here is 7-8 dollars an hour for unskilled labor and of course skilled labor runs higher then that. We have full benefits with most average jobs as well as sign on bonuses. In fact a restaurant chain here is paying $1,000.00 recruitment fee for managers, assistant Managers and Managers in Training. CNA sign on bonuses run between 150.00-500.00 dollars.If you would like to know more then feel free to email me with what you are looking for and I will send you what I have. The cost of living is rather high here as a 2 bedroom apartment or house will run you around 500.00+ dollars a month. Gasoline right now is ,79-,83 cents a gallon.
